In some implementations, the smart home environment 100 includes one or more intelligent, multi sensing, network connected wall switches 108 hereinafter referred to as “smart wall switches 108”, along with one or more intelligent, multi sensing, network connected wall plug interfaces 110 hereinafter referred to as “smart wall plugs 110”. The smart wall switches 108 may detect ambient lighting conditions, detect room occupancy states, and control a power and/or dim state of one or more lights.
